Notes:

Meeting minutes for WSG meeting on 10/4/2016

Co-chair elections coming up soon. Toss in your suggestions.

WTX - Aaron and Brian / gulp, git modules by Kevin Wu

Presentation on Credit Card processing in the works

Any website form policy? What data to accept from users? We can look towards http://www.policy.ucsb.edu/

It.ucsb.edu site is it still useful? Who uses it? Seems WSG and WTX only groups.

EHS site has photos release documents.

Anyone have a workshop ideas:

  • Security - Sam Horowitz / Kip Bates

  • Hacking - real word examples

  • Pantheon - Drupal/Website hosting

www.housing.ucsb.edu site went responsive. Painful to get a “desktop” site to be responsive, might have been easier to start from scratch.

Pantheon can host wordpress and drupal. No news on campus wide agreement.

Vendor requirements?  508, HTTPS, Data and Privacy. http://www.policy.ucsb.edu/
