Responsive design is a newer approach to web design and development, in which the website design transforms to fit the needs and capabilities of the user and their device.

This workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to responsive design, including the motivations and benefits of responsive design, how responsive design impacts website content and user experience, and concrete techniques for building responsive designs.

Logan Franken is a web developer and designer at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He specializes in creating clean, accessible web applications and loves exploring newer web technologies. He has taught several training courses on various aspects of web development to fellow developers and designers at UCSB.
