SCOPE

This workshop will provide an introduction to web accessibility, including the general issues, policies, and legislation defining web accessibility, an understanding of how impaired users interact with websites, a discussion of the new UC guidelines for accessibility, and best practice tips and techniques for ensuring the accessibility of your website.

This workshop is free and open to all UCSB campus employees. Registration is limited to 30 participants. Pre-registration is required. Mark Grosch is the Adaptive Technology Specialist with the UCSB Disabled Students program.

Logan Franken is a web developer and designer for UCSB Student Affairs Information Systems.
