If you are receiving harassing or threatening phone calls, there are several steps you can take to prevent those calls.
If you feel like your life and safety are in imminent danger, please contact 9-1-1 to request emergency assistance from local law enforcement. Once the imminent danger has passed, you may want to report the issue to Communications Services for further support by submitting a ServiceNow ticket or calling 805-893-8700.
If you do not feel like you are in imminent danger, please report them to Communications Services as soon as you can. You can submit a ServiceNow ticket or call 805-893-8700. The sooner we are made aware of issues, the sooner we can take steps to prevent those calls.
Depending on the nature of the calls you are receiving, we may encourage you to contact the UC Police Department at 805-893-3446 to file a police report. If the calls are coming from the same phone number, we may be able to block the calls from reaching you and/or prevent them from reaching anyone on Campus.
