UCSB Campus Community,
We are reaching out to share several important updates regarding UCSB’s transition to a new electronic timekeeping system, UKG Pro Workforce Management (Pro WFM), as we approach our planned go-live date of May 11, 2025.
Transition Timeline
To complete this transition, the timekeeping system will be unavailable from Saturday, May 10 through Sunday, May 11. No action is required on your part during this period.
What to Expect Following Go-Live
- Access to the system will be available at timekeeping.ucsb.edu
- Your timekeeping role and responsibilities will remain the same.
- The most noticeable difference will be the system’s modernized look and feel.
- Business processes will largely remain unchanged, ensuring operational continuity after go-live.
Training Resources Now Available
Optional, web-based, self-paced training is now available for managers and employees seeking additional support with timekeeping practices. The training provides a comprehensive overview of processes and roles using Pro WFM for demonstrations, but it does not focus on changes within Pro WFM.
The training is comprehensive and takes approximately 60- 90 minutes to complete. Please evaluate your familiarity with timekeeping practices before enrolling, as experienced users may not need it. If you feel you would benefit from a review or additional practice, this training is a valuable resource.
The Timekeeping Employee Curriculum and Timekeeping Manager Curriculum are both available now via the UC Learning Center.
We remain committed to keeping the campus community informed and supported throughout this transition. As we approach the go-live date, we may share additional updates and reminders.
Questions or feedback? Please direct them to your department’s Payroll Manager or Timekeeper.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support.
