In today's digital world, ensuring everyone can access information is more critical than ever. With new DOJ requirements aligning with WCAG 2.1 AA standards on the horizon, this series will provide both a comprehensive refresher for those familiar with basic concepts and a welcoming "crash course" for new learners.
This introductory session will cover:
- Understanding the importance and impact of digital accessibility
- Key accessibility concepts: a clear overview of WCAG, POUR Principles, and standard assistive technologies.
- An introduction to skills for creating accessible digital content: Get a sneak peek into creating accessible documents, PDFs, Slide Decks, and eLearning content.
